Did you know this was going on yesterday?
June 15 marked 14 years of DACA, and thousands of our neighbors took action to call for a pathway to citizenship! Will you join them?
Immigrant youth who were in high school when DACA was announced have now gone to college, started their careers, and built families in the only home they’ve ever known.
Even after all these years, their future is still up in the air. DACA recipients are being targeted for detention and waiting months for their renewals to be processed.
From DACA to TPS to asylum protections, our communities have had enough of watching this administration dismantle programs meant to protect us. We know the only lasting solution to keep each other safe is a pathway to citizenship. 📣Yesterday, young people showed up in D.C, Houston, Chicago, and around the country to protect our communities and call for citizenship.
Now, it’s your turn! Will you join the thousands of our neighbors who have already taken action to call for a pathway to citizenship for millions? ✍️ Send a letter to your Members of Congress today:

14 years ago, DACA was born out of courage and determination. Now, we’re back — in the halls of Congress, in the streets, and with our community – to demand what is long overdue: a pathway to citizenship for all.
✊ There’s no denying the power we hold when we stand united. Here’s a look at the incredible actions that took place around the country yesterday:

📣 In D.C, hundreds of young people met with the offices of their members of Congress to deliver their demands for citizenship. For some, this was their first time making a lobby visit. After a day of Congressional visits and a press conference, they got to celebrate their courage and power surrounded by their community at our Home is Here rally for citizenship.
🗣️ In Chicago, neighbors gathered with Congresswoman Ramirez for a special convening and press conference to hear local voices speak about the urgent need for citizenship in our communities.
🎤 In Houston, community members had a conference of their own with Representative Sylvia Garcia to make it clear why our communities need citizenship now
💌 More than 15 letter-writing gatherings also took place around the country over the month of June, from Illinois to California to Louisiana:

📍In Texas, church members wrote 70 letters to their members of Congress and made 50 community protection packets to share with their neighbors.
📍In Michigan, neighbors gathered together for an afternoon of writing letters, sharing snacks, and growing our power.
📍In Florida, two brothers hosted gatherings with friends, and wrote letters that they hand-delivered to their members of Congress on June 15.
And, they’re not the only ones who made their voices heard! Together, we’ve already sent 52,305 letters to Congress calling on them to stop the delegalization agenda and pass a pathway to citizenship.
Bernardo, the future we need is within reach, if every single one of us takes action to make it happen. DACA’s 14th anniversary might’ve passed, but our call for citizenship will live on until millions in our communities have the safety and stability they need. ✍️ Will you send a letter today to grow our impact and call for a pathway to citizenship?
