United We Dream - No matter how hard we work, it’s harder to get by

It’s all more expensive: gas, flights, groceries. Everything. It feels like no matter how hard we work, prices go up … and our paychecks stay the same.

But this isn’t random. It’s by design. And this war in Iran is making it worse.

Powerful interests are driving up costs through a violent and senseless war, and passing the bill onto working people.

The administration has already cut billions of dollars worth of programs that help working people — Medicaid and other health programs, SNAP, education benefits, and housing assistance. Meanwhile, this war cost $11.3 billion just in the first week. It could end up costing taxpayers as much as $1 trillion.

And this administration is looking to make even more cuts to the programs that help our communities to give the Pentagon $1.5 trillion in next year’s budget.1

Immigrant communities help power our economy, adding trillions of dollars to the GDP.2 These same communities have become the targets of this administration, through mass detention and deportation operations, and through budget cuts that make it harder and harder to get by in the U.S.

Now they’ve chosen to squeeze our budgets even further by starting this senseless war.

But we’ll keep fighting. We’ll keep standing up for our families and demanding our tax dollars fund schools, healthcare, and housing — not endless war.

Your support powers our work to protect immigrant communities, resist budget cuts, and build the economy and future we deserve.

If you’re inspired by what we’ve accomplished together and want to keep fighting for schools, healthcare, and housing — not endless war — will you make a donation today?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Thank you,

Ximena, United we Dream
