United We Dream - 14 years in, and a $555 fee still stands in the way

For 14 years, DACA has provided life-changing protections, allowing us to work, study, and build our lives in the only country many of us have ever called home. Yet, it has also meant 14 years of living from one renewal to the next, never knowing when a court decision might strip these protections away.

Today, these protections face their greatest threat yet.

The DACA Renewal Fund covers the $555 application fee, ensuring no one loses their status due to financial hardship. We want to help everyone who comes to us, but our waitlist is growing, and our funds are nearly depleted.

Will you rush a donation of $25, $50, or even the full $555 to the DACA Renewal Fund to help a DACA recipient renew? 100% of your tax-deductible donation will go directly into the hands of DACA recipients who need to renew their status.

Renewing on time has never mattered more. Unprecedented delays are causing people to lose their jobs, income, and status.¹ Furthermore, ongoing litigation threatens the right to work for DACA recipients in Texas.² Court rulings are increasingly putting DACA recipients at risk of detention and deportation—even with valid status. We know of at least 340 detentions and 90 deportations.

DACA has protected over 800,000 people from deportation, keeping millions of families together—including more than 250,000 U.S. citizen children with parents who have DACA. The average recipient arrived as a child and has lived here for decades; we have careers, families, and deep roots in our communities.³ Against this backdrop, renewing DACA remains the strongest form of protection. You have the power to make that happen for someone today.

DACA was born out of courage and determination. When the odds seemed impossible, immigrant youth refused to be ignored and achieved the impossible. Fourteen years later, that same resolve moves us forward. We will not let DACA fade quietly, and we will not let our community be pushed out of status. The lasting answer is a pathway to citizenship—and we're calling on Congress to deliver it.

Make no mistake: DACA has never been more vulnerable. Please donate to the DACA Renewal Fund today.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
