Native Organizers Alliance - ICE is using military-style tactics in our streets. Congress wants to hand them $70 billion more to terrorize our communities.

Patricia,

In Minneapolis, or Mni Sota Makoce, ICE centered its invasion in the heart of the Native community. Children were fearful of going to school, elders did not go to doctor’s appointments, and families lost income due to ICE terrorizing the community. The impact of people killed as they stood up for their neighbors’ human rights fundamentally changed how all Minnesotans understood their role and power in stopping the illegal acts of the federal government.

Now, the Trump administration has asked Congress for $70 billion more for ICE and Border Patrol -- on top of the massive slush fund the agencies received last year as part of Republicans' Big Brutal Bill.

ICE has gone rogue, killing people in our streets, disappearing our neighbors, separating families, detaining children, and entering homes without judicial warrants. There are many reports of Natives placed in ICE detention despite being citizens of the Navajo Nation and Oglala Sioux Tribe. Tribal citizens are being caught up in raids in the Midwest and Arizona.

Congress is preparing to vote on a bill that would send tens of billions of dollars more to ICE and CPB. Because of grassroots pressure, the Senate has been forced to push this vote until after the Memorial Day holiday, meaning we still have time to stop this disastrous bill.

Send an urgent message to your senators and representative right now and demand they reject $70 billion for ICE and Border Patrol that would super-charge violence, detention, and deportation of our immigrant neighbors.

SIGN AND SEND

We know that ICE has been racially profiling people for deportation and harassing and arresting members of Tribal Nations for years along the border with Mexico. They are using military-style tactics in our streets, while more people are dying in ICE custody than any time in U.S. history. They have separated over 100,000 children from their families.

Not only does this Republican bill fund ICE through the end of Trump's term in office, it contains zero limits on ICE violence at a time when Trump's border czar Tom Homan has pledged that "mass deportations are coming."

Take action today and demand that Congress reject more money for ICE and CBP and protect all of our communities from this administration's terror campaign.

Hawwih (thank you) for your bravery in the struggle to stop ICE violence.
