Patricia,
Native organizing starts with building on the lessons of our ancestors on behalf of our descendants.
From direct action to legal advocacy to voter engagement, we’re supporting communities through leadership development -- training organizers on skills that better the quality of life for our people and all communities suffering under rising authoritarianism.
Native resistance has changed form over time, but not the strategy or the path we walk -- because resistance is mobilizing power with love, discipline, and respect for self and community. Native Organizers Alliance continues a tradition of understanding where we are going because we understand where we came from.
Like buffalo in a storm, we face difficult conditions head-on. That’s the best way to protect our collective rights to build the inclusive multiracial democracy we all deserve now.
This Giving Tuesday, please help drive our organizing to protect Native peoples' traditions and stand with our non-Native kin. Together we’ll keep defending human rights for all, ensuring Tribal sovereignty, and demanding the federal government live up to our treaty rights and the U.S. Constitution.
