TAMACC E-News: Friday, January 31, 2025     Austin Latino Business and Community Leaders Meet with New Police Chief to Address Key Concerns   On January 28, 2025, more than 60 Latino leaders from TAMACC, HABLA, and LULAC came together to host a pivotal meet-and-greet with Austin’s newly appointed Chief of Police, Lisa Davis. The gathering fostered dialogue on critical issues affecting the Latino community.   Discussions centered around the heightened presence of DEA and ICE agents in Austin over the weekend, sparking concerns about the city’s approach to immigration enforcement.
