BANF has committed a total of $500k in artist awards, underscoring their dedication to nurturing artistic talent in communities of color. We are proud to have served as Latinx Operational Partner, in collaboration with LAWAH, and MECA, for the 2025 Artist Awards. Check out the amazing group of artists here. Gaby Moreno in Concert is a soulful blend of blues, jazz, folk, and Latin rhythms, delivered with her powerful voice and emotional guitar work. Her performances celebrate multicultural sounds, leaving audiences moved by her passion and storytelling. 

Gaby Moreno is a Grammy-winning and Emmy-nominated singer-songwriter and producer. Since moving to Los Angeles from her native Guatemala, Gaby has released nine albums, won a Grammy for her project X Mí (Vol. 1)., earned Grammy nominations for her albums Alegoría (Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album, 2023) and Illusion (Best Latin Pop Album, 2017), and won two Latin Grammy Awards (Best New Artist, 2013 and Best Traditional Tropical Album, 2023).

Orígenes: Voice and Percussion Through the Ages, a bilingual program that explores the evolution of Spanish and Latin American music. Curated by mezzo-soprano Cecilia Duarte and percussionist Jesús Pacheco, Orígenes blends captivating performances with cultural heritage, offering a unique musical journey from the Renaissance to today.
This special event, which is part of the ExxonMobil Discover Series, is designed to welcome individuals with sensory differences, cognitive or developmental disabilities, and their families into a relaxed and inclusive environment.

Advocates of a Latino Museum of Cultural and Visual Arts & Archive Complex in Houston, Harris County (ALMAAHH) is an organization dedicated to showcase and accelerate Latino cultures and arts by creating opportunities locally and nationally, while promoting understanding of Latinos, thus elevating Houston as the national center of Latino culture, education, and economic prosperity.

ALMAAHH is an organization that leads, manages, unites, and supports the work of the Arts and Culture complex. It will be a connector among Latino arts and culture communities, as well as between these communities and the general public. It will recognize itself as part of a complex, rich, and evolving environment and will encourage its growth and positive evolution. The state-of-the-art museum complex will be future-forward, timely, and timeless, creating opportunities for authentic representation of Latino art and culture, locally and nationally. Its built environment, digital infrastructure, programs, and collections, will connect people everywhere, making Houston the national hub for a vibrant and thriving Latino arts and culture ecosystem.
