United We Dream - This is the largest delegalization effort in modern history

NBC News headline

The Supreme Court just handed down a devastating ruling — clearing the way for this administration to terminate Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for roughly 350,000 people from Haiti and 6,000 people from Syria.¹

United We Dream is mobilizing to support impacted members and organizing to build a better country for us all. Please rush a $10 donation today to support our rapid-response efforts.

Since taking office, this administration has moved to end TPS for 14 of the 17 protected countries — putting more than 1.3 million people at risk of detention and deportation and impacting 2.3 million U.S. citizens with loved ones who have TPS. Whether it's this latest court ruling, the slow dismantling of DACA, or the ongoing efforts to redefine birthright citizenship, the goal is the same: push millions of people out of status and redefine who gets to be an American.

This is mass delegalization in practice, and citizenship is the only solution.

This moment isn’t just about a single program; it's about the stability, safety, and strength of entire communities being jeopardized. Congress faces a clear choice: will they protect the rights of all working people, including immigrants, or will they allow this administration to carry out the largest mass delegalization in modern U.S. history?

TPS holders are our neighbors, coworkers, and family members. They’ve built their lives here over decades, and now they face the unthinkable: losing their work permits and the threat of being detained and deported.

We’re calling on Congress to deliver citizenship now.

TPS holders have never been temporary in our communities. We won't allow our family and friends to be cast aside. We won't let our communities be pushed out. We're still here. Still organizing. Still refusing to stay silent. Chip in $10 or more today to power the movement for citizenship.
