Hey Bernardo, Have you seen these gas prices? Healthcare becoming less and less accessible to our communities? Our friends and co-workers losing their jobs to DACA renewal delays? With so much going on at once, we often feel like there’s nothing we can do about it. That’s because the system is rigged to protect billionaire interests: their power, their wealth, their gain. Not ours. All across the country, from DACA recipients to U.S. citizens, millions of working people have been forced by our government into a state of survival. All of it is connected: administrative DACA delays that put our neighbors at risk of losing their jobs, war abroad that makes corporations richer, and horror against immigrants here at home. With our lives being treated as disposable, we need to unite to demand REAL solutions that put the stability and safety of our communities first. 👉 That’s why, this month we’re inviting you to bring your friends and loved ones together to write letters to our members of Congress calling for permanent protections and citizenship for our neighbors. The DACA program will turn 14 years old on June 15th. On this anniversary, we’re using our collective voice to demand a pathway to citizenship that keeps our families, workforces, and communities intact and strengthens our economy! 🗓️ We’re kicking things off at our “Letters for Our Neighbors” Community Call on Tuesday, May 19, at 6:30 pm ET/ 5:30 pm CT! Will you join us to learn how to host your own letter writing gathering and demand a future where we can all thrive?
