✔️Hosted a national “Staying Rooted, Staying Ready” Community Call with Home is Here to make sense of recent immigration policy developments together
✔️Gathered at our “Be Your Own Boss” Entrepreneurial Info Session with Immigrants Rising to give you the resources to start your own business and create alternatives to systems that don’t value us
✔️Strategized at our “Students Belong in Classrooms: ICE Out of Our Communities" Call — a space for young people to come together to learn how to host a peaceful student-led walkouts
All of these opportunities began with knowing you and the resources our communities need. We have the power to take care of each other, but first, we need to focus on what really matters: our voices, our interests, our needs.
