United We Dream - Help keep families together

“America's strength lies in its diversity and inclusion. Let's not betray the American Dream.” — Community member

Right now, families across the United States are being torn apart. People of all ages are being held in detention centers where some do not receive medical care, and some have died. In 2024, over 2.5 million people in immigration proceedings lacked legal counsel.

The Defending Our Neighbors Fund is a lifeline for many immigrants. It fills a dangerous gap in our immigration system by funding trusted legal representation.

The Fund prioritizes those most at risk: Families with children, long-time residents, survivors of violence, and people with urgent medical or humanitarian needs. The Fund partners with community legal providers across the country to get help where it’s needed most.

More than 6 million U.S. households have someone at risk of detention or deportation. Legal representation is one of the strongest predictors of whether a family can stay together. Without it, parents and children face court systems they don’t understand and decisions that change lives forever.

Your donation today can help cover experienced immigration attorneys and legal teams to represent people in removal proceedings, support outreach so people can find help in their language, and, when possible, cover emergency bond costs to prevent separations.

Will you make an urgent gift today to help defend our neighbors?

Thank you for standing with our communities and helping build the lifeline for families.
