Native Organizers Alliance - Support Native nonprofits on Native Nonprofit Day:

Native Organizers Alliance Logo

Patricia,

Did you know that only 0.23% of philanthropic funding by foundations goes to Native-led organizations like ours?

Tomorrow is Native Nonprofit Day, a day to recognize and support the work of Native community nonprofits.

Here at Native Organizers Alliance, we’re one of the largest national nonprofits that work with Tribes, grassroots organizations, and Native societies across Turtle Island to grow the movement for Tribal sovereignty, build Native political power, and protect our Mother Earth.

We appreciate the support we receive from foundations. But our most important stream of funding is from you.

Can you chip in to fund our work for Native Nonprofit Day?

The above photo is from one of our training sessions for Native leaders. We just wrapped up a training earlier this month, where we equipped more than 60 Native community organizers to lead surveys in their communities.

Over the next month, they’ll have vital conversations with people in their communities to strengthen relationships and learn more about the experiences and priorities of their communities.

This project is the first step in educating their communities on what is a priority for candidates to address if elected. It is part of our efforts to awaken our communities to the traditional practices of collective grassroots power to provide solutions for government action and push leaders to fulfill their legal obligations under our treaties, whether on our traditional lands or in urban areas.

Grassroots donations enable us to expand these trainings and to grow community organizing and movement building for Native rights and justice for all people living on Turtle Island.

With your support, we’ve also helped secure structural reforms of Tribal-federal co-stewardship agreements that ensured sustainable land and water management for generations to come.

But with increased attacks on human rights and on Mother Earth, we must keep growing.

Please make a donation today to help us continue building an empowered Native movement for sovereignty, so together we can withstand growing attacks while protecting our lands, waters, and ways of life.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your secure donation will go through immediately:

Hawwih (thank you) for helping make our work possible,
