With the exception of larger councils, most councils yield between 3 to 4 delegates to a LULAC National Convention. Multiply 3 x 342 yields 1,026, while multiplying 4 x 342 yields 1,368. That would be the range of maximum delegates.

The Editor projects lower than 400 delegates will come to the LULAC National Convention in Ft. Worth, June 17 thru 20, 2026.

San Antonio dropped by 30 councils.

UT and NV dropped by 16 councils.

AZ dropped by 15 councils.

San Antonio has always been the power house for vote getting in LULAC. We'll see how that lesser count of delegate strength affects national elections. Caucus activity should be more lively in Ft. Worth in June.
