A true pioneer who helped open doors for generations of Latino artists and musicians, Ritchie Valens made history with timeless classics like La Bamba, Donna, and Come On, Let’s Go. Though his life was tragically cut short at just 17 years old, his music and legacy continue to inspire millions around the world.
Many people may not know that after his passing, his mother Concepciรณn, older brother Bob, sisters Connie and Irma, and youngest brother Mario later moved to Watsonville. Bob Morales was a longtime North Monterey County resident before his passing in 2018.
