The sheer awesomeness of this picture from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope is tempered only by the sad fact that there are still people on our planet who seem to believe that this is all some cosmic-scale deceit manufactured by a deity they think cobbled it all together on or about October 24, 4004 BC—together with the one third of US citizens who believe in ‘young-earth creationism’.
Let’s not even mention flaturthas—those who haven’t quite caught up with Eratosthenes.
