"My wife is expected to give birth on May 1 – the same day my DACA expires. " — Angel, waiting since November
Angel should be focused on his growing family, instead, he faces the looming threat of unemployment and financial instability due to ongoing DACA delays. Will you send a letter to USCIS to demand an end to these delays? |

Angel did everything by the book. He applied for his DACA renewal well in advance, as directed by USCIS. Yet, his renewal application still hasn’t been processed.
Like more and more DACA recipients across the country, Angel has been waiting months to hear back from USCIS. With his work authorization and protections from deportation set to expire in May, Angel — an expecting parent — now risks losing the ability to provide for his family.
Unfortunately, this is not an isolated situation. We are facing the most dangerous moment in DACA’s history, and mass delegalization efforts are unfolding before our eyes. In the last year, we witnessed the unlawful detention of close to 340 DACA recipients and the deportation of nearly 100 of them. Now, with USCIS sitting on renewal applications and failing to process them promptly, DACA recipients are at an even greater risk of being torn for their families and communities.
Will you take action today to protect Angel and all other DACA recipients facing these growing renewal delays? Together, we can demand the safety and stability that our neighbors need.
✍️ Send a letter to DHS Secretary Mullin and USCIS Acting Director Edlow to demand an end to DACA renewal delays:SEND YOUR LETTER
Bernardo, these ongoing delays put our entire communities and families at risk. DACA has allowed hundreds of thousands of young people to pursue higher education, secure stable jobs, start businesses, buy homes, and contribute to our communities. From healthcare to education, DACA recipients power every aspect of our daily lives.
USCIS cannot sit on renewal applications while our neighbors, teachers, parents, and nurses lose their protections and jobs. 👉 Will you send a letter to DHS Secretary Mullin and USCIS Director Edlow to demand an end to the DACA renewal backlog? USCIS must process renewal applications before Angel and more of our neighbors lose their ability to provide for their families.
In unity,
Nico and the United We Dream team
