Roberto Vazquez [LRL] Tomorrow: 200 National Events to Stop ICE detention warehouses

 This Saturday, April 25, people will take to the streets, gather at federal buildings, and show up for their communities to protest ICE detention warehouses.

There will be over 200 events across the country. Check the list of events and join your community tomorrow for the Communities Not Cages Day of Action.

ICE is expanding its detention operations by purchasing industrial warehouses that could cage 10,000 people each — disappearing them from their families, their lawyers, and their communities.

These are not temporary holding spaces. They are industrial-scale operations designed to process human beings like cargo, stripping them of dignity and due process while private prison companies profit.

Public pressure has already convinced some warehouse owners not to sell to ICE. 

So we need to continue speaking out and showing ICE, the Trump Administration, local communities, and elected officials how deeply unpopular their agenda truly is.
