The Editor: The LULAC National Board of Directors met on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 9:00 AM until 713 PM. According to one of several free lance reporters employed by the Voice of the Mainland to cover the Board meeting, nothing eventful happened at the Board meeting. Margaret Moran is trying to run LULAC from a perch of eggshells. The Board is very closely divided. Any move by Margaret and Rosa will not make it to first base. Even their marginal supporters would not vote with them. LULAC is being led by termed out officers who cannot lead the organization in this time of national need. That is the way it will continue to be until a court settles out the issue of who prevailed out of the New York City fiasco.
According on of the reporters, no new business was conducted. The Rocha matter never came up. It did not come up because some of the marginal supporters that Margaret Moran had on her side on the Board would not support appointing a worthless person like Roger Rocha to steal money from the limited LULAC coffers in being paid a salary to oversee the work of Brent Wilkes. Margaret Moran could not establish control; of the Corporate Alliance Advisory Board, nor of the LNI, nor of the LNESC.
As the free lance reporter said, "an uneventful meeting."
In the meanwhile, word has it from the LULAC street that Priscilla Rocha, the State Director of Nevada LULAC, one of Margaret Moran's main supporter, was indicted this summer in Nevada for stealing $289,000.00 of public school funding. The story in next to this post. She was present in the meeting in DC in support of the illegal posturing of Margaret Moran. As one of the free lance reporters told the Editor, "there is not honor amongst thieves." You would think that having a LULAC officer with a 54 count indictment for stealing public funds from the education coffers of Clark County Independent School District (Las Vegas) would have been asked by the holy roller Margaret Moran to not participate in the meeting of the LULAC National Board of Directors. One of the defendants in the case pled guilty in August and will testify against Priscilla Rocha in the trail that will be held in the Spring of 2015.
