Dear Colleagues and Friends:
To read about Dr. Angela Davis at UCLA earlier this year
and to listen to a 1969 at this same campus, see below links. It's great
that Davis links the struggle of blacks in the U.S. during the late 1960s to
Chicanas/os and other groups. It's also amazing, but not surprising, that many
of the issues that Davis spoke about 45 years ago still plague America's
ghettos and barrios, etc.
