We will not abandon the issue of freedom for Ramsey
Muñiz! Even though recent announcements were made about the resignation of U.S.
Attorney General Eric Holder, it is President Barack Obama who has the authority
to grant applications for Compassionate Release.
Attached are two sample letters that we ask all
supporters to revise (add your own return address and signature), and mail to
Washington, D.C.. These same letters are posted on our blog at http://www.supportramsey.blogspot.com/.
Within the next two weeks we will send additional
correspondence to Ruben Hinojosa, Chairperson of the Congressional Hispanic
Caucus, and the members of their Civil Rights Committee. We will ask that they
also send letters of support.
