Subject: Join our 6th annual Immigrant Day of Resilience Celebration! ๐งก
Hi,
When was the last time you shared a laugh with a loved one? April 15 is our sixth annual Immigrant Day of Resilience, and we want you to be part of this powerful moment with us! ๐งก
We’ve faced a painful year. With immigration agents deployed into our cities, schools, workplaces, and airports, we’ve mourned the death and disappearance of our neighbors. While ultra-wealthy billionaires and corporations profit from our labor, we’ve watched the price of rent, groceries, and gas go up.
But, through all of it, we’re still here, and we’re still fighting. Our resilience comes from every moment where we’ve lent a hand to a neighbor in need, where we’ve shared a meal with a loved one, and where we’ve refused to let this administration strip us of our joy and hope. ✊
And, on April 15, our power is growing! We’re coming together as immigrants, neighbors, working people, and allies to make it clear that our courage in the face of this terror has always been our strength.
Will you join us for a comedy night with activist Che Guerrero and a breakdown of how to participate in the nationwide May Day of Action? From Immigrant Day of Resilience to May Day, the power of the people will build lasting change in this country. Sign up today to attend our “Live, Laugh, Organize: Immigrant Day of Resilience” Community Call on Wednesday, April 15, at 6:30 pm ET/ 5:30 pm CT:
