Hi, all,
The Voces Oral History Center at the University of Texas at Austin is looking for a couple of Latino Vietnam vets in El Paso to interview in early January 2026.
Background: Voces started out as the US Latino & Latina WWII Oral History Project in 1999. We expanded to several different collections in 2009, including Vietnam vets. Our videotaped interviews are housed in the Nettie Lee Benson Latin American Collection on campus. Our goal: to record, preserve and disseminate the stories of the larger Latino community broadly.
If you know of someone, please send them my way: voces@utexas.edu.
And thank you to all in advance,
Maggie
