Roman Palomares, LULAC National President and Chairman

Grateful,

On this Thanksgiving Day, we take a moment to reflect with deep gratitude on the blessings we share as a community—volunteers, allies, and partners—united by a common purpose: to lift up and protect our Latino families. This holiday arrives during challenging times for millions of Latinos across the United States and Puerto Rico. Too many are facing uncertainty, hardship, and fear, and their struggles are never far from our thoughts.

This year has reminded us why our mission is not only important, but urgent. We give thanks for the strength to stand firmly with those who feel unheard, unseen, or left behind. To every family separated from loved ones, to every worker striving for dignity, and to every young person unsure of what the future holds—please know this: you are not alone. LULAC is here, and we will continue fighting for you with unwavering commitment.

We also offer thanks to our country, which for nearly a century has been our home and our hope. America remains a place where dreams take root, where justice can prevail, and where communities like ours contribute every day to building a brighter future. Our faith in that promise—in each other—remains strong.

As we gather today, whether surrounded by family, connecting with friends, or holding loved ones in our hearts from afar, may we all find a moment of peace, warmth, and gratitude. And may the year ahead renew our courage, our unity, and our determination to create a more just and compassionate nation for all.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Signature

Roman Palomares
LULAC National President and Chairman
