Join MACRI and the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center for a lecture, presentation of art, and book signing with Roy Pachecano, author and illustrator of A Passion for Places. Pachecano’s inspiring illustrated sketchbook shows how Texas landmarks and buildings are connected to other places around the world. 🖼️

Join MACRI in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Hernandez v. Texas (1954) landmark Supreme Court decision, for a reception and screening of the documentary film A Class Apart.

Join our Celebration Luncheon to learn about how we plan to grow MACRI into a national center housing significant historical archives and collections, preserving the legacy of Mexican American civil rights endeavors for generations to come, and offering an unparalleled opportunity for the public to learn about this vital history.
