Hi — join me
in celebrating Immigrant Day of Resilience today! ๐งก
Every year, on April
15, we honor the resilience and care that immigrants pour into our
community, even in the face of deportation, detention, and violence.
In a year when we’ve
faced countless anti-immigrant challenges, we must shine the light on
our resolve to pick each other up time and time again — protecting one
another and activating our voices to achieve local and national wins. ๐ซถ
Join us in honoring our ancestors, elders, and
relatives who guide us in our fight for a more abundant and caring
future. The collective memory
and shared vision that they’ve passed down to us through music, poetry,
and art show us that they knew joy and freedom, even in times of
duress.
We’ve commissioned
BIPOC artists, Devon Blow, TK Dinh, and Josue Roman, to create a set of
postcards that help us recall our ancestors who fought for racial
justice and democracy. Claim your FREE postcard set of 3 today, and reflect on
the multi-racial future we’re building together.
