As a Latina, I am disappointed that Ms. Moran continues to undermine the authority of a duly elected Latina LULAC President. This behavior is a detriment to our fight for equal treatment of women . This is not the first time that our organization has had a disagreement over who will serve as our President. And yet, our organization has been able to conduct our business. When we cannot conduct our business. everyone suffers , especially Latinas. I expect my leaders to consider the effect of their actions on the people they represent, and not their political legacy .
