The Editor: This is the charging instrument in the case of Priscilla Rocha, the still, State Director of Nevada LULAC and, still, member of the LULAC National Board. Her attorney told the press that there was a lot of confusion and that his client would be able to resolve her issues at trial. 52 counts, give or take 2 counts, is an awful lot of maybe's to hang your hat on. Her matter was briefly discussed at the LULAC National Board meeting, but no action against her was taken because Margaret Moran said that it would be premature, since the case still needs to go to trail. Some of the money
The amount of money involved in the theft and misuse of public funds is just under $300,000.00. The funds and equipment were property of the Clark County Independent School District, the school district serving the people of the City of Las Vegas.
The case involves several defendants. Rocha is the alleged leader of the pack.
Part of the testimony before the grand jury involves checks that involve LULAC fees and delegate expenses, probably part of the money LULAC used to defeat Doming Garcia in Las Vegas in 2013.
You would expect that the righteous Margaret Moran, Rosa Rosales, Luis Vera, and Manuel Escobar would have asked Priscilla Rocha, no relationship to Roger Rocha, we think, to tender her resignation or to have had the LULAC National Board of Directors to remove her from her post.
