LULAC - National Convention Update

The Editor: The word on the LULAC street is that the wheels for the Rocha buses have come off. The tens and twenties buses did not materialize as planned. The buses out of San Antonio went from 15 to 10 to 6 to 4 to 3 to 2 to 1. Nobody wanted to be on a bus for the 40 hour torture ride. Purchased delegates are not as committed as hard core delegates. The word on the street is that this will mean a Luis Vera strategy to create delegates. How many will need to be created, you ask? 500 to 800 is the word on the street. The creation of delegates are being organized by Democratic party activists from the NYC area. We have a tape recording of Margaret Moran asking a leader from the NYC area to round up serveral hundred NYC Latino activists to be certified as certified delegates for LULAC councils from the Southwest who will not have delegates in NYC. The Machine has several hundred extra delegate ribbons that they will be handing out to their created delegates in secret rooms in the Convention center hotel.

LULAC has teamed up with ICE, or it appears that way, they are asking for photo ID's at registration and credentials.
